Shizayus serves as the Shaman of the underwater Temple and interpreter of the “Will of Damazan.” Traditionally, the role of Shaman existed to guide the underwater community through careful understanding of nature, balance, and the needs of the people themselves. Under previous generations, interpretations of Damazan’s will were intended to strengthen and protect the community as a whole. Since assuming the role (under mysterious circumstances), Shizayus has slowly reshaped the position into something far more controlled and deliberate. Highly disciplined, patient, and emotionally unreadable, Shizayus rarely acts openly or impulsively. Guidance is delivered carefully, traditions are interpreted selectively, and influence over the Temple and the community as a whole, has steadily tightened over time. Many within the underwater community continue to view Shizayus as wise and spiritually gifted… few fully recognise how deeply the Temple’s authority has gradually become tied to the personal ambitions of the Shaman. Even so, Shizayus rarely appears openly cruel or aggressive. Calm leadership, ritual precision, and quiet certainty make questioning the Shaman increasingly difficult for those raised to trust the Temple completely. Controlled, calculating, and deeply manipulative, Shizayus represents the dangerous power of authority hidden beneath calm devotion.
