Our characters and narratives are meticulously crafted through lenghtly brainstorming sessions. During these sessiions, we will pour in vast volumes of ideas. We'll discuss and debate about how each idea fits within the greater story. When one of us hits on an idea for a story or character that works perfectly, the excitement reaches a climax, and a flood of related ideas will usually follow. Then, as calm retunrs, we set about filling in the details. For a character, this includes the working out the scores for each of the 42 personality traits. Developing one character is both an exciting and time-cosuming process. And I'm sure you'll agree, it is all worth the effort!
