Fiskoss

Fiskoss

/ˈfɪskɒs/ ▷

Fiskoss was the archivist of Ancient Gandrisar and the keeper of one of the greatest collections of knowledge ever assembled. Responsible for preserving discoveries, inventions, historical records, and accounts of daily life, Fiskoss believed that information was only valuable if it could be organised, understood, and retrieved when needed. For this reason, the Archives were constructed far from Gandrisar itself, hidden within the mountains where the records of the ancient world would remain safe should disaster ever strike the city. While many focused on creating knowledge, Fiskoss focused on ensuring it would survive. Within the Archives, every document had a place, every record had a purpose, and every piece of information was carefully catalogued. Scientific breakthroughs, personal journals and historical events alongside ordinary observations of daily life were all carefully catalogued. Fiskoss understood that future generations would need more than facts alone to understand the world that came before them. Although rarely interested in politics or public recognition, Fiskoss took the responsibility of preservation extremely seriously. Poor record keeping, missing information, or disorganised collections were treated with visible frustration, particularly when important knowledge risked being lost as a result. Orderly, meticulous, and devoted to preserving knowledge, Fiskoss represents the belief that truth must not only be discovered, but carefully protected for those still to come.
