Brodlar is one of the practical foundations of the Enclave community, helping maintain everything from infrastructure and machinery to construction, repairs, and general engineering work. Although not specialised in any single field, Brodlar possesses broad technical knowledge and an unusual ability to solve problems quickly using whatever materials or tools happen to be available. Direct, dependable, and highly action-oriented, Brodlar has little patience for unnecessary ceremony or complicated ideology. While once willing to tolerate the teachings of Damazanism as a useful structure for the underwater community, confidence in the Temple vanished after Shizayus began twisting the religion toward manipulation and control. Unlike others at the Enclave, however, Brodlar has no interest in debating religion endlessly or convincing others what to believe. Everyone is free to arrive at their own conclusions. Instead, Brodlar focuses on building a functioning, supportive community outside Temple influence through practical work, cooperation, and straightforward honesty. Broken systems are repaired. New arrivals are welcomed. Problems are solved. Friendly, capable, and grounded in practical reality, Brodlar represents independence through action rather than ideology.
